5 main points of Swami Vivekananda’s speech in Chicago

Swami Vivekananda ji delivered a historic speech during Parliament of religions at Chicago in September 1893. He opened his address to the gathering as ‘Sisters and brothers of America’. It was very highly applauded by the people in the hall. He spoke about India’s ancient and rich culture, religion of brotherhood, acceptance and tolerance for all world religions, universal brotherhood. He stressed that India is a land where people of all religions, sects are acceptable and live in harmony. There was a craze among the #Americans to listen to Swami ji, to meet him and to discuss with him. He mesmerised the entire western world.
